Having a well on your property can be very beneficial for anyone. One of the biggest benefits of having a well on your property is having access to clean drinking water, and also the fact that you may not have to pay for a water bill. However, if a well is not being used, it has to be sealed. Usually the person to call if you have an unused well on your property is a company that specializes in geotechnical drilling. For example, if you use the water from your well to water your lawn, you would not have to seal it up because it is technically not abandoned.
