Drilling Beacon Square Environmental Drilling and Sampling
It is not uncommon for many people to believe that drilling professionals are only consulted and contracted in order to gain access to an area deep under the surface of the ground. This is true, but there are other services that are important to geotechnical and environmental drilling. Beacon Square residents and business owners should be made aware that sampling from different sources is another big aspect of a geotechnical drilling company. In addition to sample collection, knowing what the samples are made of or their composition is vitally important for many reasons depending on what the sample is. Here are some common samples that need to be collected and analyzed in both geotechnical and environmental drilling.
Soil Sampling
There are some aspects connected with geotechnical drilling that do not need to know the type of soil is below the surface of site. One of these is when a drilling company is asked to do water well drilling. Beacon Square residents do not care much of the soil, but are gaining access to the water underneath. But understanding what kind of soil and sediment is below the surface of a location is important to some industries such as construction. Consider the fact that large construction and infrastructure projects need to be constructed on soils that are stable in order for the structures to not shift or breakdown in some capacity from the weight alone.
Water Sampling
While soil sampling is not really important when talking about water well construction, Beacon Square residents should know that groundwater sampling and analysis is hugely important. Any source of water that is going to be used for consumption, whether it be for people or animals, needs to be deemed safe to drink. Some sources of groundwater may have gotten contained for other sources that may not have been disclosed to both residential and commercial areas. This is even more important when one water source is being used by multiple people where what they do in their wells can drastically affect others who also have a well.
