The state of Florida is known for many things. Groundwater may seem like a harmless thing to deal with for people who do not live in the State of Florida, but Floridian residents know that groundwater is a major cause for sinkholes. When groundwater recedes or dries up, it can erode some sediments that are found underground. When enough sediment is removed, giant fissures can form and with enough weight they can collapse causing sinkholes. This is a huge concern for professionals that specialize in geotechnical drilling. Sky Lake drilling professionals might use ground water and moisture to test a location for sinkhole activity, as they also may be asked to perform sinkhole remediation with their drilling equipment.
